TDE CEO Anthony Tiffith says the imprint will tour once this year's four albums are released.
At the beginning of the year, TDE prez Dave Free revealed that four of the imprint's artists would release an album in 2016: ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Isaiah Rashad, and SZA. Friday afternoon, Anthony Tiffith, who has been a reliable and forthcoming source regarding all things TDE, asserted that the label will be touring as a group once these albums have been released.
"Once everyone drops their album we getting a TDE tour?" a fan asked Tiffith on Twitter.
"Yep," he replied.
Aye! A full TDE tour would comprise of Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, Isaiah Rashad, SZA, Lance Skiiiwalker, co-president/occasional rapper Punch, and possibly Kembe X, who has hinted heavily that he has signed to the imprint.
Tiffith also mentioned that he's "working on something special" that'll be ready next week. If he's simply referring to Blank Face LP, great. If he's referring to something else, even better.
